New Features
CAPTCHA for landing pages
CAPTCHA validation is now automatically activated for your public or password-protected events (one password for all) to prevent bot spamming and attacks on your landing page.
Multi-step form
For the registration form, you now have the option of choosing between a single-step or multi-step form. A multi-step form allows you to divide the registration into several steps instead of collecting all the required information on a single page. You also have the option of requesting the accompanying persons in any step and adding a heading to the individual steps.
Event limit
You can now set a limit for your event. When this limit is reached, registration is closed and registration is no longer possible until the limit is increased or guests cancel. You can also select the status for which the limit should be counted against (usually "Confirmed"). You can find the setting under Settings > Limits.
Waitlist
As soon as you have set an event limit, you can also activate the waitlist. As soon as the event limit is reached, all further registrations will be added directly to the waitlist and guests will receive an email with the status "waitlist" (if created). As soon as the first guest is on the waitlist, all further registrations are automatically added to the waitlist. If a guest cancels, there is no automatic move-up and the status of a guest on the waitlist must be changed manually to "Confirmed". An email confirmation is also sent for the "Confirmed" status (if created).
Limits for custom fields
Under Settings > Limits > Limits for custom fields, you now have the option of setting a limit for each of the available options of an existing custom selection field (dropdown or radio / individual selection). This allows you to define the capacity for workshops offered, for example:
- Workshop A: 10
- Workshop B: 20
- Workshop C: 30
The prerequisite is that this field is available in the guest list and is defined as a selection field.
Read-only fields
Fields in the registration form (main guest and accompanying person) can now be published as read-only using the "Read only" setting. If the read-only field does not yet have any content when registering (e.g. department of the invited guest in the guest list), this field can still be filled in initially and is only read-only after transmission.
Individual number of companions
In addition to the general setting, which allows a maximum number of companions per main guest, you now also have the option of setting individual limits for the number of compaions for one or more main guests. This can be done through single or multiple editing.
Improvements
Various optimizations and improvements in the areas of guest list, email templates and attachments, landing page templates and user profile
