Set up Event App: Choose app name, icon, and features

This article explains how to initialize the Event App for your event and configure the basic settings.

REQUIREMENTS

You need access to the event in the AirLST Suite. Setup is carried out under Event App > Setup.

STEP 1: INITIALIZE EVENT APP

1. In the event menu, open Event App > Setup.

2. If no Event App has been created yet, you will see the message "No Event App found". Click Initialize Event App.

3. You will be taken to the "Create Event App" setup wizard.

STEP 2: DEFINE APP IDENTITY

Enter an App name. This appears on the home screen as soon as the app is installed or opened.

STEP 3: SELECT FEATURES

In the Features section, select which optional components should be active (e.g., push notifications, newsfeed, chat & channels, gallery, surveys, quizzes, and multiple languages). Features that are included by default, such as agenda, FAQ, event map, speakers, exhibitors, and attendee directory, are always active.

STEP 4: DEFINE ACCESS

Define whether the Event App should be publicly accessible or protected. For details, see the article "Control access: public, booking code, or access code".

STEP 5: CREATE EVENT APP

Finally, click Create Event App. The app will be initialized and you will be taken to the Event App dashboard.
