Guest Limit and Waitlist
Here you can set the general guest limit and activate the waitlist. To do this, please go to the Settings tab and select Limits.
Practical Example: Using the Waitlist
You set a guest limit of 500 people for your event and specify that only the "Confirmed" status is used for counting.
Once 500 people have registered, the registration automatically closes.
If at least one person cancels, the registration reopens since a spot is now available again.
To prevent the registration from closing, it is advisable to set up a waitlist.
After 500 successful registrations, new registrations go onto the waitlist, and guests receive an automated email notification informing them that they are on the waitlist.
Please note that this email must be created and assigned by you beforehand.
Please also note that there is no automatic promotion from the waitlist, and you must manually change the status from "Waitlist" to "Confirmed."
Limit for Custom Fields
First of all, it is important to understand that your limits affect the created fields of your event, specifically the "Select Fields."
To set limits for your select fields, follow these steps:
First, click on the + Create Limit button.
Now, select the existing field that you want to restrict with a limit.
After selecting the respective field, the following column opens where you can set the limit.
Enter the corresponding limit here.
In the box below, you can define which status determines the number of available capacity.
By default, the status "Confirmed" is always set, but this can be adjusted as needed. Multiple statuses can also be selected.
Display Limit Availability
After setting a limit for a select field, you can specify within the registration form whether the availability of the selection options should be displayed or not.
