In this article, you will learn how to configure the registration form on your landing page, which field types are available, and how to use permissions, multi-step forms, and styling options.
OVERVIEW
The registration form is the centerpiece of the landing page.
It collects all sign-ups and required information about your guests. You can find it in the default templates on the Registration page.
| Note: Only one instance of the registration form can exist per landing page. However, its position within the page can be freely rearranged. |
BASIC SETTINGS
To edit the registration form, simply click on it. An editing window will open with the following options:
Title: Give the form a heading.
| Setting | Description |
| RSVP before Registration | Asks the guest for an acceptance or decline before displaying the form. If declined, the status is automatically set to "Cancelled". |
| Allow editing after submission | Allows the guest to modify their registration after submission. Not available for events using "One Password for All". |
| Use a different registration status after submitting the form. | Allows you to review open registrations via the "Requested" status before manually confirming them, while guests from your imported guest list are confirmed directly. |
| Note: The first both features require the guest to log in with their booking code on the registration page. If the guest is not yet on the guest list, the RSVP option will not be displayed. |
CONFIGURING FIELDS
Directly below the basic settings, you can select all the fields you want to include in the form.
READ-ONLY FIELDS
Fields in the registration form – for both the main guest and companions – can be published as read-only via the "Read Only" setting. This prevents changes to fields such as first and last name.
| Note: If a read-only field has no content at the time of registration (e.g. department), it can still be filled in initially and will only become read-only after submission. |
SHOWING AND HIDING FIELD OPTIONS
You can hide individual options of a selection field in the registration form, regardless of whether the options are limited or not. Simply click the corresponding icon to the right of the option.
REORDERDING VIA DRAG & DROP
The order of options within a selection field can be changed via drag & drop.
CUSTOM FIELDS
Under "Add Custom Field", you can create new fields. The following field types are available:
| Field Type | Description |
| Text Line | Single-line input field for short text, e.g. name or email address |
| Text Area | Multi-line text field for longer responses, e.g. comments or notes |
| Dropdown List | Dropdown menu with predefined options |
| Integer | Input field that only accepts whole numbers, e.g. age or quantity |
| Date | Date picker allowing users to select a specific date via calendar or input |
| Checkbox (Yes/No) | Checkbox for a yes / no option |
| Spacer | Empty area to visually divide the form structure |
| Content Area | Space for static content (text or images) to display additional information |
| Decimal | Input field for numbers with decimal places, e.g. amounts |
COMPANIONS
In the header of the registration form, you can enable companions. Guests will then be able to add additional persons during registration.
PERMISSIONS
Every page and every section of the landing page has permission settings. These determine who can see and access specific content.
| Permission | Description |
| Public | Anyone can see this page or section without restrictions. |
| Private | The guest must log in to see the page or section. |
| Custom | All defined conditions must be met for the logged-in guest to see the content. |
These permissions can also be applied to individual fields in the registration form, allowing you to display fields only under specific conditions and create nested logic within the form.
| Example: The "Email" field is only shown to the guest if their company name is "AirLST". |
MULTI-STEP FORM
You can choose between a single-step or multi-step form. A multi-step form splits the registration into several steps instead of collecting all information on one page.
Options:
• Split the registration into any number of steps
• Place companion questions in any step
• Add a custom heading to each step
STYLING THE REGISTRATION FORM
In the "Styling" tab, additional design options are available:
• Change the background color
• Use a background image
• Adjust the title color
• Modify the section and content width
