This article explains how to set up your Event App in multiple languages.
REQUIREMENT
The "Multilingual" feature package must be enabled under Event App > Setup > Feature Packages.
ACTIVATE LANGUAGES
1. Open Event App > Setup > Languages.
2. Under "Activated languages", add all languages in which your Event App should be available (e.g., German and English).
3. Under "Default language", specify which language visitors see by default.
TRANSLATE CONTENT
For nearly every text field in the Event App (page content, sessions, FAQs, push notifications, newsfeed posts, and much more), you can switch between the activated languages and maintain the content individually. A coloured dot next to the language selector indicates whether content has already been added for the respective language.
Use the Translate everything button to have missing translations generated completely by AI. Then check AI-generated translations for accuracy, especially when it comes to specialised terms.
| Tip: First create all content in your default language in full, and then use "Translate everything" to keep the effort required for additional languages to a minimum. |
