This article explains how to configure time-based add-ons, also known as slot-based add-ons, for your event.
This allows your guests to book fixed time slots during registration, for example for workshops, test drives, or consultation appointments.
PREREQUISITES
- An active AirLST event
- The role of “Company Owner,” “Admin,” or “Event Manager”
- At least one slot-based add-on in your event
BASIC CONCEPT
A time-based add-on works like an appointment calendar: you set an availability period, and the system automatically generates individual time slots. Each slot has a fixed duration, a fixed price, and a maximum capacity.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Navigate to your event and open the “Add-Ons” section.
- Open the desired slot-based add-on.
- Click “Add Availability.”
- Fill out the form (see field overview below).
- Click “Save.”
FIELD OVERVIEW: AVAILABILITY
When creating an availability, the following fields are available:

| Capacity per Slot | Maximum number of simultaneous bookings per slot. | Yes |
| Max per Guest | How many slots a single person may book (default: 1). | Yes |
| Max per Booking | How many slots are allowed per booking in total (empty = unlimited). | No |
| Price per Slot (€) | Fixed price each guest pays per booked slot. | Yes |
| Tax Rate (%) | Sales tax rate for this slot. | Yes |

NOTE You can create different availabilities for different guest groups with their own prices and capacities. For example, VIP guests can receive different time slots or prices than standard guests. |
MANAGING AVAILABILITIES
After saving, you will see your availability in the add-on overview. You can at any time:
- Edit existing availabilities
- Add additional availabilities for other guest groups or time periods
- Toggle the add-on on or off using the Active/Inactive switch
