This article explains how custom fields are grouped in the column selector, which names have changed for add-on bookings, and what the new labels for price fields mean.
REQUIREMENTS
Before you start, you need:
- Access to the event in the AirLST Suite
- Permission to create custom fields if you want to create new fields
CUSTOM FIELDS ARE GROUPED BY ASSOCIATION
The column selector in the table settings – available in Guest list, Contacts, Bookings, and Add-on bookings – previously collected custom fields in a single category. For events with many fields, it was therefore unclear which object a field was stored on.
Custom fields now appear grouped under their object type, in each case below the standard fields:

| Contact | Belongs to the contact record and is available across all events throughout the company |
| Add-on | Fixed property of an add-on, the same for all bookings |
| Add-on booking | Recorded for each booking of an add-on |
When you select a category in the sidebar, the associated custom fields are also displayed.

Note: You can now find a contact’s language in the Contact category. There is no separate category for language. |
SEE WHAT A FIELD APPLIES TO WHEN CREATING IT
When creating a custom field, a banner indicates which object type the field is being created for, for example, “Contact – available throughout the company, in all events.” In the Guest list, this notice is updated as soon as you change your selection.
| Tip: Check the banner before saving. A field that applies to only one event belongs to the guest. A field that you want to reuse across multiple events belongs to the contact. |
CONSISTENT NAMES FOR ADD-ON BOOKINGS
Add-on bookings are now consistently called bookings. The previous name “Reservation” and terms dating from the creation of the add-on object have been removed.

PRICE FIELDS EXPECT THE GROSS PRICE
All price fields for bookable elements – tickets, slot bookings, quantities, and overnight-based bookings – are labelled “Gross price.” The system derives the net amount from the stored tax rate. The tax rate field is uniformly called “MwSt./VAT”.
