The AirLST event checkout supports online instant payments as well as – via Stripe – SEPA bank transfer as an asynchronous alternative. Which payment methods are shown to your guests depends on the respective Payment Service Provider (PSP).
OVERVIEW
Online payments (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) are always due immediately and in full at checkout. Additionally, SEPA bank transfer is available via Stripe as an asynchronous option – the guest is immediately confirmed and pays within the set payment deadline. The available methods depend on the PSP linked to your account.
PAYMENT PROVIDERS IN AIRLST
AirLST works with three Payment Service Providers (PSPs): Stripe, Mollie, and PayPal.
You select which provider to connect for each event.
Advantages of this multi-PSP architecture:
- Freedom of choice – use the PSP that fits your requirements.
- Redundancy – in case of a PSP outage, you can switch to an alternative.
- Regional optimization – deploy the suitable provider depending on the target market.
- Existing contracts – your own PSP accounts can be connected.

GENERALLY NOT SUPPORTED
Regardless of the PSP, the following payment types are not available:
- Installment payments / Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) across all PSPs.
- Klarna, In3, and similar services (technically not transmitted by AirLST).
- Net payment terms with automatic dunning – payment monitoring and cancellation in case of non-payment are the responsibility of the organizer.
BANK TRANSFER (SEPA) VIA STRIPE
Guests who cannot pay by card can choose SEPA bank transfer as an alternative.
| NOTE |
Activation is on request per company. Mollie and PayPal will follow at a later date. |
How it works:
- At checkout, the guest selects the payment method "Bank Transfer" and completes the order.
- The guest is immediately confirmed; the purchaser receives a booking confirmation and an invoice with virtual IBAN, reference, amount, and due date.
-
The guest transfers the amount via SEPA.
As soon as the payment is received, Stripe reports the receipt and the booking is automatically marked as paid.
Important notes:
- Asynchronous payment – payment receipt typically in 0–3 business days (no instant receipt).
- Payment term: standard 14 days, configurable under invoicing & taxes in Stripe.
- Payment reminders and cancellation in case of non-payment are the organizer’s responsibility. AirLST does not provide automatic dunning. In case of non-payment, the organizer cancels the booking in AirLST and issues the credit in their own accounting.
- The AirLST platform fee is only charged upon actual payment receipt.
- Requirement: connected and fully verified Stripe account, payment exclusively in EUR.

Would you like to activate SEPA bank transfer for your account? Please contact the Customer Service Team at support@airlst.com. |
NOTE ON MOLLIE CONFIGURATION
With Mollie, you decide which methods are shown to your guests – directly in your Mollie dashboard. AirLST only adopts the methods you have activated there. Klarna, In3, and similar "purchase on account" methods are technically not transmitted by AirLST and therefore not available, even if activated in Mollie.
PLATFORM FEE
- The platform fee is 4% of the gross shopping cart value (ticket prices including paid add-ons), plus statutory VAT.
- It is charged independently of the fees of your payment service provider – PSP fees are added on top.
- Details on PSP fees can be found in the respective documentation of Mollie, Stripe, and PayPal.
