This article explains how to use the AirLST Check-in App to validate tickets across multiple guest lists simultaneously – without merging them first.
PREREQUISITES
- Latest version of the AirLST Check-in App (Release 04/26 or later).
- At least two events with associated guest lists in your AirLST account.
- Your account has access to all events you want to scan simultaneously.
- Guest codes are unique across all participating guest lists (see "Warning" note below).
OVERVIEW
Multi Guest List Scan lets you validate tickets from multiple events or guest lists in a single scan. The lists remain logically separate – no guest data is merged.
This is especially useful for parallel events at the same venue, cross-venue admissions, or multiple ticket categories that converge in the same entry flow (e.g. main event, side sessions, and VIP reception).

NOTE Multi Guest List Scan does not replace per-event management. Reports, statistics, and guest lists are still maintained per event. Only the scan at the entrance checks multiple lists at once. |
HOW IT WORKS
- Open the main event in the AirLST Check-in App – this event will always be included in the scan.
- Go to the app settings and open the "Multi Guest List Scan" section.
- In the modal selector, choose all additional events whose guest lists should also be checked during scan.
- Confirm the selection. The app now scans against all selected guest lists simultaneously.
- Proceed with check-in as usual. The result screen shows which event the scanned code belongs to.
SETTING BEHAVIOR

| Event switch | Cross-device setting – the selection persists across event switches and does not need to be reconfigured. |
| Double scans | Built-in debouncing prevents the same code from being scanned twice in quick succession. |
| Result attribution | After scan, the app shows which event the code belongs to and whether the check-in was successful. |
IMPORTANT NOTE ON GUEST CODES
For the scan to clearly attribute a code to a single event, guest codes must be unique across all participating guest lists.

WARNING Guest codes must not be copied between events. If the same code exists in multiple guest lists, it cannot be determined which event the check-in should be booked to. Before activating Multi Guest List Scan, ensure that all participating events use their own unique codes. |

LIMITATIONS AND NOTES
- Selecting additional events does not change your account permissions. You can only select events you already have access to.
- Multi Guest List Scan is device-specific. Each device can have its own event selection.
- Reports and check-in statistics continue to be managed per event.
